We grow blue spruce Christmas trees also called silver spruce. It is a slow-growing, long-lived tree of medium size that, because of its symmetry and color, is planted extensively as an ornamental. This tree is a majestic evergreen when planted as a specimen tree or as a group. Blue spruce survives ice storms very well due to its strong branching. The strong branches also make it ideal as a Christmas tree as it holds heavy decorations exceptionally well. Their green-silver-blue needles are aromatic but prickly to the touch. Green to blue color makes this Christmas tree very attractive. The pyramidal shape with good needle retention makes them a classic choice as Christmas trees.
